Getting Started With Your Stick Lane USB
Welcome to Stick Lane. This page will help you get up and running quickly, whether you’ve purchased a Linux USB, a recovery tool, or one of our utility sticks.
How to Boot From Your USB
Most computers prioritise the internal hard drive, so you may need to adjust your BIOS/UEFI settings before your Stick Lane USB will boot.
Follow these steps:
- Insert your Stick Lane USB into the computer.
- Restart the computer.
- As soon as it powers on, press your boot menu key repeatedly.
- If the USB does not appear, enter the BIOS/UEFI settings (usually DEL, F2, or ESC).
- In the BIOS/UEFI menu:
- Disable Secure Boot
- Move USB Storage to the top of the Boot Order
- Save your changes and restart the computer.
- Select your USB drive from the boot menu.
- Press Enter to boot.
